The Natural Mind – A Lecture by Acharn Chah

Acharn Chah passed away a long time ago, but his words still ring with perfect clarity.

This soundtrack is a reading from his book, ‘The Natural Mind’, and I suppose it might be a little too much for beginners – but nevertheless, it should be listened to because, among other things, it speaks to the psychology of meditation practice – the vicissitudes of the journey when we undertake a life-time fascination with meditation.

Also, it looks into the intricate relationship between Samatha meditation and Vipassana meditation, and the stages of advanced practice.

So as I said, for beginners, it’s not so essential.  Just posting it for the record, and for future reference by those who are progressing beyond beginning.
