Though I never had the opportunity to practice with Acharn Chah, I wish I had, because his understanding of meditation, and the tricky mental obstacle course it can be when we practice it, was profound and extremely lucid.
This book, “The Teachings of Ajahn Chah” is a collection of his talks, and it is essential reading for anybody who practices meditation.
The subjects cover everything from the practice of meditation and the challenges involved, to enlightenment, and how to live and how to die, and the wisdom in every paragraph is like drinking cool clear water on a hot day.
This book was compiled by the monks who worked with Acharn Chah for free distribution.
As such, I’m making it available here as well. So please, don’t miss this chance – and send it on to whoever you think it may be of use.
